Aidi

The breed of the Aidi dog is originated from Morocco North Africa and from 1963 mistakely the dog is also known as Atlas Sheepdog but these dogs never served as, therefore, the mistake was corrected in 1969. These dogs found in Atlas mountain of Morocco and mostly used semi-nomadic people of the mountainous region as a guard dog. The average height of the Aidi dogs are between 53 to 61 cm and average weight is approximately 55 pounds. The average lifespan of these dogs are 10 to 12 years and available in white, black, pale yellow, fawn, brown, pale red, and black and white colors. The coat of the Aidi breeds are weather-resistant with medium length. It is the powerful and energetic dog that is also ready for action. The Adi breed is sensitive so it will need proper training. This dog is helpful as a livestock guardian so it will be a little bit independent dog. The breed of the Aidi dogs is very healthy by default so they will never face serious health problems. The Aidi dogs are alert and need a long daily walk. The coat of the Aidi dogs are weatherproof and their hair grows 6 cm long so they require regular brushing at least in a week for removing any dust from the body. Instead of that this dog also requires bath two or three times per year. The Aidi breed need to be exposed to social conditions as possible so that it makes an ideal family pet.
